Durgo valves are activated once waste water is sent to the waste pipe. As the pipe fills with negative pressure, the valve will open and allow air into the pipe. Once the pressure is equalised, the valve will close, which is what prevents unwanted smells from escaping and entering the home.
These push-fit and solvent soil systems are durable, lightweight and impact resistant. This system is a very reliable way of carrying sanitary waste from domestic, commercial and industrial installations.
